Timeless design

The characteristic C-post, imposing rear end, distinctively sporty front end and muscular silhouette are a clear demonstration of the new Golf’s supremely assured dynamism. The twin headlights, featuring cross-extending indicators underneath, are also a significant design feature. The upward-sweeping wings rise steeply above the headlights. In conjunction with the radiator grille and the body-coloured bumpers, this creates an utterly dynamic, timeless design feature.

Note the ergonomics: all controls and switches are precisely where you would intuitively expect them to be. There is plenty of space in the rear compartment, too: Passengers taller than 1.90 m will also find the rear seats amply comfortable. And there's plenty of room in the boot for all your luggage. If you need more load space, the rear seats can be folded down in the twinkling of an eye.

Volkswagen proves improved environmental profile throughout the entire life cycle of the Golf

After the launch of the Golf BlueMotion, Volkswagen publishes the Environmental Commendation of the Golf. Like the Passat before, Europe’s bestselling car, the Golf, has also received this award. In the Environmental Commendation, improvements in the environmental profile of a vehicle’s entire life cycle were appreciated and directly compared to the corresponding preceding model. Concerning the Golf, an obvious reduction of relevant environmental effects has been verified. All results shown in the Environmental Commendation have been verified and certified by the independent technical inspection organisation TЬV NORD CERT.
